One of 38 fireplaces painted to look like marble in all units in a new condo building in
West Los Angeles in 2003.

History for Steve Romanelli:

Apprenticed with Paolo Soleri at Arcosanti (north of Phoenix, AZ) in 1980 doing cement castings in stucco and cement wall building. In 1997 I took classes with Chuck James of Rocky Mountain Painting, Salt Lake City, UT. Chuck has done many historical decorative paint jobs through out the world. For 11 years I was in Hawaii doing residential wallcovering and large paint and commercial wallcovering jobs. 12+ years in various cities in California (Los Angeles, San Jose and Santa Rosa) primarily doing commercial vinyl wallcovering with the last 10+ years in NYC area concentrating on Venetian plaster, faux finishes, concrete and stucco repair.

Here are some interesting completed projects - a detailed reference sheet is available upon request:

A nursing home in Kailua, Hawaii. We renovated all the patient rooms, hallways and offices. This was the first occupied nursing home to be renovated in the state of Hawaii.
